What age groups do you cater for?
We offer music lessons for all age groups, from children to adults.

Do I need to have any prior music experience?

No prior music experience is required, our lessons are suitable for beginners up to musicians wanting to improve.

How much do lessons cost?

Lessons are charged at £18.00 per half hour lesson.

How long are the lessons?

All single subject lessons are 30 minutes long. If you would like to combine trumpet/piano lessons with theory, lesson length can be adjusted to accommodate this. 

How does payment for lessons work?

Lessons are charged per half term or monthly, please see Lesson pricing for more details.

When are lessons available?

Please see Booking for more information or Contact us for availability. Morning bookings are now available to book, starting from September 2025!

Do you provide a free trial lesson before I sign up?

Yes absolutely, a free trial lesson is available to book for both trumpet and piano before signing up to regular lessons. Please contact us to make a booking!

How can I book a lesson?

You can easily book a lesson by contacting us through our website or giving us a call!

Do I need to own an instrument?

For the free trial lesson, a trumpet is avaliable to play, but for future lessons a Bb trumpet would be needed. These can be purchased or hired through most musical instrument shops.

For piano lessons, availability to a piano to practice on would be recommended.

Is music supplied or do I need to buy my own?

A practice book and folder including various learning sheets and music is provided, but other books/pieces of music would need to be purchased. Details of these would be given to you in lesson.

What happens if I need to cancel my lessons?

As long as this is done in the time scale required in the lesson contract there will be no charge. Please see cancellation section of contract for more details.

Is Music Box DBS checked?

Yes, I have enhanced DBS and safeguarding guidance provided by ISM and ASRSM
